Background and introduction

Gyan Jyoti Samudayik Campus lies in the western belt of Champadevi Rural Municipality Ward No. 06. It is located at around 36 kilometer from the district headquarter. The campus has been serving the Community with the light of quality and pragmatic education. The campus endorsed the affiliation from the Tribhuwan University in the year 2065 B.S. on 13^th January. The institution was inaugurated by the minister of finance of the day, has truly been depicted as the milestone of the higher education.

Initially the Campus faced countless hurdles in the sense that it had to be managed within the measures of Tribhuban University in the remote hilly region. Some nearby Municipalities like Likhu and Sunkoshi Rural Municipality are benefitted with the ease and access of quality education in the affordable fees. It helped locals educate their youths ignoring the costly fees in the city. Moreover, the campus has been facilitating the learners with scholarship programs especially for the poor, marginalized daughters and ethnic groups. Anyway, the campus has played a vital role to quench the thirst of knowledge for the youths in their own premises.previously we had had limited numbers of student but in the recent days we have around two hundred students of different financial and educational background who are the source of inspiration and dedication for us.The members of campus management team are also well qualified and genius. However, the campus suffered with obstacles in the financial and physical level. It has been taken as a deserving institution since it is the one and only Community Campus throughout the Municipality.

We, on behalf of the campus administration are really very grateful to all the well-wishers academician political leaders, guardians, predecessors and all the learners for their attribution, cooperation, initiation, assistance invaluable participation and prescription which are highly fruitful to broaden the academic height of the campus. As we have heard “Education is the key to success” all our efforts through this institution will be applicable to open the door of wisdom and to direct us to build the beautiful nation and creative citizens in the days to come.
